First Thursday Group - Sacred Heart Center, Newton

Every First Thursday there is an opportunity for a Day of Recollection at the Retreat Center. Each month attendees pray morning prayer together and reflect on God’s Mercy.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available for those who wish, during a time of Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. The morning ends with the Divine Mercy Chaplet followed by the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Participants then share a simple meal together.

Everyone is invited at 9 AM on the First Thursday of each month!

January and June Women’s Retreats substitute the First Thursday of those months.

These days of recollection are suspended during the summer months of July and August.
